The SP 50B Line Stage Pre-Amp
Preamplifier is a high quality valve based line stage pre-amp with 20dB of gain. The class of operation is Class A triode featuring a pair of 6922 tubes.

The most interesting feature about the pre-amp is the circuit in the Amber SP-50B is the same gain stage used on the single ended Cary Audio CAD-300 SE amplifiers. The 6922 tubes operate in an anode current source configuration.
